This segment of the CarDon Senior Resource Hub features Danielle, a nurse practitioner who specializes in the care of seniors. She’ll let you know what to look for if someone is exhibiting signs of a stroke. Danielle will teach you about the acronym FAST (Facial drooping, Arm weakness, Speech difficulties and Time) which has been used by the National Stroke Association, American Heart Association and others to educate the public on detecting symptoms of a stroke.
