CARDON PRIVACY POLICY
Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share personal information when we send or facilitate SMS (text) communications, as well as your rights concerning that information. By providing your mobile number and consenting to receive SMS messages, you agree to the practices described below.
Information We Collect
In connection with our SMS programs, we may collect your name, mobile phone number, email address, and date of birth (if applicable). We also maintain consent records such as opt-in or opt-out status, the time and date of your consent, and the method by which it was provided. In addition, we may collect communications you send to us by text message along with our responses, technical and usage data such as your mobile carrier, device type, and message routing metadata, as well as any preferences or other information you choose to provide. Please note that we do not request or require protected health information by SMS, and you should not send such information in text messages. If health information is received, we will handle it in accordance with our privacy and security practices and may direct you to a more secure channel.
How We Use Your Information
We use the personal information collected through our SMS programs to send text messages you have requested or consented to receive, such as appointment reminders, alerts, and service updates. This list may be updated to reflect additional types of messages as our services evolve. Your information may also be used to verify your identity, respond to inquiries, and support our compliance and record-keeping obligations. In addition, we may use the information to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of our services and communications.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not share your SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or other purposes. Personal information collected through our SMS programs may be shared only with trusted service providers that support our messaging services, such as delivery platforms, analytics providers, and hosting services, and only to the extent necessary for those functions. This list may be expanded to include other service providers as necessary to support our messaging services. We may also disclose information if required to do so by law, regulation, or legal process. For clarity, SMS consent is not shared with third parties or affiliates.
Consent and Opt-In / Opt-Out
You provide consent to receive SMS messages from us when you take clear action such as checking the consent check box, entering your phone number into a form, or signing an agreement that includes SMS authorization. A link to this Privacy Policy will be provided upon demand. You may withdraw your consent and stop receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. For additional assistance, you may reply HELP or contact us directly at (844) 4-CARDON.
Security
We use industry-standard security measures, including end-to-end encryption and access controls, to protect the personal information collected through our SMS programs. While no system is completely immune from risk, we continually review and strengthen our practices to provide a high level of protection.
Data Retention
We retain personal information collected through our SMS programs for as long as it is needed to deliver messages, maintain records, and meet compliance or legal requirements. Once the information is no longer required for these purposes, it is securely deleted or de-identified in accordance with our retention policies and applicable law and regulations.
Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain rights regarding the personal information we collect through our SMS programs. These may include the right to access your information, request corrections or updates, ask that your information be deleted where feasible, restrict how your information is processed, and withdraw your consent to receive SMS messages. To exercise these rights, contact us at (844) 4-CARDON.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, services, or legal requirements. When we make significant changes, we will provide notice as appropriate at least a week in advance and update the effective date at the top of the Privacy Policy. Your continued use of our SMS services after any changes are made constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
