If you or a loved one have served in our armed forces, we want to serve you through Veterans Affairs (VA) benefits, which can help cover the cost of senior living.
From independent and assisted living to rehabilitation and long term care, you will surely find what you need at CarDon’s senior living communities.
Rehabilitation is often part of veterans’ life journeys, and that’s why all of our communities are VA-contracted for short term rehab. But we understand that rehab can also be a vital part of aging in general. In addition to physical, occupational and speech therapy, our team offers:
- Respiratory therapy
- Intravenous therapy
- Anodyne therapy for treating neuropathy, wounds, chronic pain, and arthritis
- Post-acute rehabilitative care for stroke, heart attack, amputation, balance dysfunction, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis and other neuromuscular diseases
Our skilled nurses are fully committed to providing comfort, safety and well-being. When they walk through our doors, they’re ready to help our residents experience the best possible quality of life and provide compassionate care. That’s 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Independent living allows veterans and their loved ones to enjoy spacious and comfortable apartments, cottage homes and convenient, maintenance-free living. Amenities include first-class, restaurant-style dining, fitness programs, game rooms, lounge areas, theaters, outdoor areas and more.
Assisted living offers many of the same perks but with the promise of help around the corner when it’s needed. We provide support on your terms with a personalized care plan. The Veterans Aid and Attendance Benefit, a monthly pension plan, may apply if you require the aid of another person in order to perform certain activities of daily living.
