CarDon & Associates is proud to announce that Sandra McGow, director of community engagement at our Bloomington community, Bell Trace, was recently recognized as a recipient of the 4 Under 40 Award for the Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce’s 108th Annual Meeting & Community Awards.
The awards ceremony took place on Thursday, September 7 at the Monroe Convention Center. The 4 Under 40 Awards recognized “young professionals that make a significant impact within their organization through their leadership and work ethic, while also giving back to the community through civic involvement.”
“We were thrilled with Sandra’s much-deserved recognition for her generosity and commitment to the community,” said Kent Rodgers, president and CEO of CarDon. “Her values align with CarDon’s in the way she cares for seniors and locals well beyond the walls of Bell Trace.”
Among other endeavors, McGow contributes to the Greater Bloomington Chamber’s Ambassador Development Committee as well as the city’s Commission on Aging, along with serving as an Executive Leadership Chair for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Earlier this year, she won a Business Networking International (BNI) Notable Networker Award, which was given to the top 10 achievers out of 180 members in the south-central region of BNI. The achievement is based in the areas of referrals given, continuing education and building relationships.
