CarDon & Associates’ Communities Rank Among Best in Country

U.S. News & World Report rankings

CarDon & Associates is proud to announce its inclusion in U.S. News & World Report’s annual rankings of the best senior care communities in the country.

For its 2024-2025 rankings, U.S. News evaluated approximately 15,000 communities throughout the nation. Four CarDon communities were recognized as the “Best Nursing Homes in the U.S.” in short-term rehabilitation and/or long-term care:

Since the inaugural rankings in 2009, U.S. News has relied on data from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency in charge of setting and enforcing standards for care communities.

To be recognized as one of the best in these rankings, a community must receive a rating of “high performing” in short-term rehabilitation, long-term care or both. Out of the 14,832 nursing homes evaluated by U.S. News, 2,836 (19%) met those criteria.

Using scientific literature, discussions with industry experts and statistical modeling, U.S. News assesses quality measures of nurse staffing, turnover of ownership and staff, patient outcomes, facility deficiencies and processes of care to determine community ratings of high performing, average or below average.

CarDon & Associates takes pride in overseeing communities that live up to these carefully considered standards.

“This recognition reaffirms the importance of our work and fuels our passion for serving seniors and their families,” said CarDon President and CEO Kent Rodgers. “This annual ranking is a crucial part of people’s search when it comes to finding a community they can trust to care for their loved ones. We’re honored to rank among the communities considered the best, and we look forward to welcoming even more residents to our communities.”
